A FRIENDLY & pASSIONATE tutor

My passions lie in helping people to grow and expand their horizons through learning.

I come from a humble teaching background but have since grown into an established community tutor and practitioner, delivering educational, enjoyable and enriching experiences for the people of Exeter and Devon.

After graduating with a 1st in BA (Hons) English & Creative Writing, I qualified as a teacher in 2021 and taught A level English for four years, before leaving further education to venture into adult education. I have delivered holistic workshops and exciting programmes of learning for a variety of ages and demographics. I have worked with many organisations in Exeter such as The Devon & Exeter Institution, Exeter Pride, Bookbag bookshop, Exeter Library and Exeter Phoenix. 

I also work with Exeter UNESCO City of Literature as a teacher of their popular and renowned Bibliotherapy-Counselling Skills course, which continues to grow in new and exciting directions.

I am studying for a MA in Literary Studies and intend to pursue a PhD in the future! I live just outside of Exeter with my husband Paddy and our cat Fergus. 

I am DBS checked, liability insured and PGCE qualified.
